UTTAR PRADESH PSC PCS Eligibility Criteria
There are multiple factors that make up the UTTAR PRADESH PSC PCS eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are mentioned in the official recruitment notification released by UPPSC.
PCS Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
A candidate must fulfill all the below mentioned educational qualifications to appear for the examination. It is important to remember that the UPPSC admit cards will be issued only for eligible candidates.
- The candidate applying for the examination must hold at least a bachelor’s degree which is relevant to the post, from a recognized university approved by state or central government.
- Candidates in their final semester or waiting for the results to be declared can also apply for the exam. However, they shall have to submit their final semester scorecard during the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission.
Apart from the above-mentioned requirements, There are some specific requirements pertaining to certain posts. The candidate’s CGPA or percentage doesn’t matter, but the candidate must hold a UG or PG degree in the particular field.

Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector | The candidate must hold a masters degree(PG) in Agriculture Science and the CCC Certificate |
Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I)/Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-II) | The candidate must hold either bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering as one subject. |

UPPSC PSC Age limit
A candidate must ensure that he/she not only fulfils the educational but also the minimum and maximum age limit barrier to appear for the examination.
The body/board that conducts the examination has set some age limit for the candidates appearing for the exam.
- Minimum age: A candidate must at least be 21 years old to attend the exam.
- Maximum age: 40 years
UPPSC PSC 2022: Age Relaxation
A candidate is also provided with a few years of age relaxation if he/she belongs to any of the reserved categories.

UPPSC PSC 2022: Physical Measurements
The board also follows rigorous physical body measurements of the candidates applying for the exam.
The posts for which physical appearances are measured:
- Assistant Conservator of Forest
- Range Forest Officer
- Dy. Superintendent of Police
- Superintendent of Jail
- District Commandant Home Guards
- Excise Inspector
